Hey guys....this is special advance notice of some cool bodies that are going to hit the showcase tomorrow. There is only one of each; one S, one T, one J, and one...um....other J. True: we have done these "Buck Owens-ish" bodies before. This time around, however, they are going to be priced extremely competitively.

How competitively, you ask? Let's just say they were to built to commemorate the birthday of the United States: July 4, '76.

Just letting your guys know a day ahead, in case anyone is interested. They will probably be listed tomorrow around 9 AM, PST.

Those are beautiful. If I wasn't hot to cut my own body next, I'd be tempted to jump on one. Imagine one with a headstock matched to the center stripe. Oh, yeah...

I wonder if the other J is a Jazzmaster or a Jaguar?
If it's a Jaguar I might just have to buy it ...  :help:

Probably a Jazzmaster since the Jaguar doesn't come as a rear routed body.

Phew, dodged that one ...

I thought as much.

I imagine that the chance of you guys doing some of these very cool one-of-a-kind super duper special runs on the slightly less popular 24" scale bodies (ie the 7/8's, Mustangs and the Jaguars) is pretty slim?

Ya...pretty slim, unfortunately. With crazy stuff like this you have to cast as wide a net as possible. You get it.

You could almost certainly have one done custom if you called in, but the price would be more bigger. You would be the only person to have one though... :icon_jokercolor:

So.... July 4th, 1776 means they will be selling for $74.76..... right? Because July is the 7th month.... You know I'm right.

Well, the Mustang I've just ordered will be pretty unique I think; roasted swamp ash with a quilt maple top and a roasted flame maple neck with ebony fretboard.
So no worries - I'm really happy with all the nice choices you offer. :icon_thumright:

Forgot to mention: besides the obvious custom three-piece lam-tops, they all have one-piece Swamp Ash bodies.

Very nice, I like the big quilt on the tele...STDC has one he put together a few years ago... :icon_thumright:

Nice to see you paying tribute to the critical role France played in your independence, even if the flag is upside down  :icon_tongue:

The surrender of the British Army at Yorktown. The last major land battle of the American Revolution. Victory made possible, in large part, by our alliance with France. Merci, vive la France!

Great gift! Over 130 years old, and we still use it every day!

These bodies are now live.

Tele was sold before I could even finished posting on FB, Twitter, and here.

Did one of you guys snag it?

Maybe you guys should get a little more ambitious about your specials. They always clear out so fast you barely even know they happened.
