That's an awesome looking guitar! Love the purple in there, gives it a uniqueness. Zebra guy here too. Even the JB I use under the plastic cover is zebra.

18 coats total, now time to cure for 3 weeks before buffing/polishing. A few areas of very minor orange peel, but overall looks great, should sand out perfectly, probably starting with 1000 grit assilex.
I love the way the back and the neck shaft turned out, was trying for the heritage cherry look, but in blue. First time I have finished a neck or used tinted nitro, but with the mahogany I thought it was a good opportunity to try it. I think by the time it is polished and waxed it will feel great.
I still need to do a little touch up to blend in the fretboard edge lacquer with the top, but it is looking like it will work well.
Already have the wiring ran for the EMGS and cleaned up the holes while the nitro was still soft to avoid chipping:
