Lil Killers

So has anyone besides Marko have the lil killers set up in their strat?

They are deliciously cheap, and scream like you wouldn't believe. I'm slapping them in my current build "soylent black" for now, might be replaced in the future but you know how it is.

So if you've used them, give me your thoughts!

I think I read on your other thread that you guys got a pre-wired pickgaurd with them. What set did you get? I have 6k dc in all positions of my strat and like I said they sound great and very strat like individualy but the quak isnt quite there in the 2-4 positions.  I also wired it up master tone/volume with 500k pots.

I'll have to check, haven't gotten it yet.. I think its the full gambit for each position, going 500k for sure though.

I had one in a bridge and didn't like it, but I've never liked any of the skinny HBs so take that for what it's worth. Very generic. Might be good if you've into the strat / metal thing though.

Yeah I'll be using this with heavy overdrive for some screaming solos and the like, I use my tele for the clean sexiness.
