Levy's has free straps ... I think

For some reason I assumed "Levy's Leathers" was connected to the similar named jeans company when I bought the MSS2-BLU.

I have a couple of Levy’s straps. My favorite mass produced straps. Mostly I use Moody straps, which were handmade boutique when I got them. I believe the company has grown a bit since then.

I’ve seen these straps that are pretty high in price and couldn’t justify it. They’re probably worth what they cost, but I have $8.99 EB straps on all five of my guitars. I used to be into saxophones and they have pretty hefty priced strap's too.

That’s where I’m at. They arrived yesterday, I’m leaving them unopened for now. Just prior to delivery I got an email from them saying this was their mistake and they want me to keep it as a token of goodwill.

I honestly thought this was some sort of warehouse clearing / PR thing. I’ve offered to return them, haven’t gotten a response back quite yet.

@Levysleathers if ya want your straps back just LMK!

Honestly, this was our error, so it’s our bad.

Anything shipped prior to us finding the issue is totally fair game and we want you to keep and enjoy those straps!

I will say, I’m glad we caught it fairly quickly haha.

I just thought of something ... I hope, if some one from Warmoth goes to NAMM they can say Howdy to the good people at Levy's. I wish I could go ...

And on another note, and probably cost prohibitive, but a strap with a couple of the fret board turtles swimming up the front would look cool. $30 plus $6.00 shipping? That would be doable, at least for me. I could guarantee at least one sale.

I hope you mean $30 on top of the cost of the strap itself. You can't seriously mean $30 for a custom strap. The stock Levy's straps I have purchased run in the $60-$80 range. And, I have a bunch of them . When they are not on my guitars, I like to rub them on my face (@Spud).
