Just unexpectedly bought an LP body

I was just browsing through the Warmoth website and checked to see how many SCs were left and a nice unfinished maple top for $300 caught my eye. Next thing I know there was a confirmation e-mail. I remember nothing in between.  :help:

Possibly either blue or teal color, with custom artwork, but I haven't thought about it much yet. I think this is one of the bodies that was previously $372. If so, that's a sale I couldn't pass up. Also, the wavy grain looks great to me.

I suspect it's the Tone Worms. They get in your head via the ear canal while you're asleep, and force you to do... things. Kinda like Khan's little pets on Ceti Alpha VI...

Next thing you know, the Brown Truck is rumbling up in front of the house and a package from Watchamacallit, WA is on your porch.

Last week I considered buying one of the last LPs but it would have been the solid mahogany one with no top. So I was ready to wait for the redesigned SC body and work on some other projects but I saw this one at the right time.

the power of the lost sale had me tempted too. But between having a new baby, relatives out of work for a while (reminder - I've been there too a few times), and remembering my hatred for everything my Les Paul was in terms of ergonomics is what led me to Warmoth in the first place stayed my hand.
