I'm trying to figure out which color to choose for a classy jazzmaster!

After seeing a beautiful blue tele, I'm kinda leaning for blue with a natural masked binding, but brown is really good looking too and red is just hot!

I borrowed willyk's Jazzmaster photo and used a bit of photoshop magic to get samples of gold hardware with a transparent colored body! (Thank you! =D)

I dunno about blue - to me, while the blue transparent over the figured grain is very beautiful in its own right, as soon as you add gold, it gets a little bling-y.  If that's what you're going for, cool - but generally, I prefer chrome with blue.

Interestingly, while I generally don't much care for clear over walnut (might as well be an end table), I do like the clear/walnut with gold and the cream pearloid pickguard.  So that's where my vote goes.

I like them all, but I agree with Bagman that the blue one should have chrome hardware vs. gold.

Well yes blingy is the look I'm going for because I want something different than my pointy black V's and such. Decisions, decisions! Warmoth really makes it hard for ya!

I voted blue..  me and patrick are the only ones

I really do like that blue tho.

what kind of wood would you be using if you were gonna have unfinished? Swamp ash would look great if you were dying it, but if left clear, I'm a sucker for walnut...

Yeah one of each would be perfect!! Alas... my budget doesn't agree.

I'd probably use walnut if I go for a clear gloss! Otherwise swamp ash or black korina with a transparent finish.

It's tough... technically red+gold is a traditional combo (and blue+silver), but I'm not a fan of red.

Blue it is.

very nice work here you really get an idea of what it'll look like, i vote anything but blue  :icon_tongue: maybe use chrome hardware with the red. but wanut and maple, maybe a maple stripe or two with gold hardware is always great.

All right, then walnut is what I choose!
