I'm in! Order is placed, Can't wait to get started..

My sweet Daughter said this Meadowhawk is giving off Eddie vibes from Stranger Things. So hence forth this beautiful instrument shall be known as Eddie.

EDIT: there is only one Eddie when talking guitar so the Meadowhawk will hence forth once again be christened Munson. 😂

UPDATE - PLEK TIME: I love this guitar! The original plan goin in was to enjoy the build process and learn how an electric guitar is put together and how the basic parts function, check and total success on both those parts of the plan.

I also wanted to complete the setup (including fret leveling) on my own but this guitar is so dang good already with just a very basic setup, I literally just set the intonation pretty close and backed the bolts back to raise the strings at the bridge in tiny increments until the buzzing stopped for the most part. Its is already extremely fun to play but i do have a few "dead" spots at fret 1 and 8 that i feel leveling will take care off but again I have zero experience so I can't be completely sure at this point. The Meadowhawk turned out so good in fact that I am going to forego the "learning" section of fret leveling and eliminate the guessing and just take it in and have a PLEK machine polish this beast off and guarantee I don't screw this up at the last stages. I will update again after the PLEK. Planning to have it done Saturday.

Hope everyone is well out there.

I also have a second tele build in early stages that I plan to level and learn on.

I know fret levelling seems daunting, and I’m sure you’re going to get a great result from the PLEK, but I assure you getting a good result from fret levelling doesn’t take a ton of skill.

I bet when you finish your Tele project, you’re going to want to go level everything in your collection.

Beautiful Guitar, and great job on the assembly. I'm with @Hodgo, just watch some instructional videos and learn the fret leveling/dressing process yourself. Stew Mac is a great resource. Enjoy it !

I debating doing it myself. Going back and forth. I have the Warmoth Tele neck and I think I'm gonna level it today I have everything to do the job on hand. If it goes well I may do the Meadowhawk.

I do my own with a leveling beam, then crown, works for Spud
