How to finish Acryllic paint?

Hey guys,

I'm kinda stuck. Ik painted my body and neck white with acryl car paint (motip) and tried to finish it with polyurethane. But PU from a can solves the acryl (because of the white spirits) and PU with a brush gives me runners that I cant sand away without hitting the paint, plus a 2nd layer of this stuff is very ugly/not transparant.

Does anybody know a good way to finish acryllic paint?
Please don't tell me I should use a different paint because I already put so much work in the neck :)

As far as I know - and I am no expert - you should use only acrylic on acrylic... Anything else will be too strong.

are you making this for Orpheo? hehehe ;)

no, no no, I like to see the cool stuff when I play! cause, when I play, I dont see the back of the neck!

cool anyway, though!

I have no experience with the product that you have used so I am making this recommendation based on what I know about these products. I think it might work but you need to do a test.

Try using the Seal and Finish as a Barrier Coat and then use what ever you want on top.  I would use water white lacquer.
