Take the average number of guitarists in the USA, divide that by the number of guitarists in the USA who have a job, multiply that by the number of guitar experts on you tube and subtract the number of you tube experts who can read and write. Then apply the Pythagorean theorem. Take the result to the 7th power, and subtract the number of Kardashian fans who have a clue.
This won't give you the right figure, but it will give you something to do while Marketing looks up the answer you want......... :headbang:
We'll also need to account for bass players since WM also produces bass equipment.
Solving for X:
G₁ = Guitarists in the USA
G₂ = Guitarists in the USA with regular employment
B₁ = Bassists in the USA
B₂ = Bassist who've only quit one band in frustration with the rest of their bandmates (we also don't need to calculate bassists who have regular employment because every bass player has regular employment or else they wouldn't quit bands out of frustration with the emotionally stunted lead guitar players*)
Y₁ = YouTube guitar experts
Y₂ = Literate YouTube guitar experts
K₁ = Kardashian fans who have a clue
Formula is
X = (((G₁ / G₂ × Y₁) - Y₂)² + ((B₁ / B₂ × Y₁) - Y₂)²)⁷
Excluding K₁ in the formula since we already know the value is 0.
(I'm just killing time waiting for my virtual conference session to start!)
* I'm totally joking here. Sometimes bass players quit because of the lead singer.
