But I certainly wouldn't use it in these cases:

- two people are arguing about, oh say, the metal composition in a Floyd Rose
- one person says something I don't agree with
- someone argues with me over, oh say, the price of ebony in China
- someone mocks my method(s)
- someone calls me names in a fit of rage

Cuz c'mon - that's people being people - adults should be able to handle this shit.

Myself, you'd have to be a schmuck to me on a consistent basis... especially if
I'm being reasonable about it... for me to silencio you.

I find it highly entertaining the way it works on this particular message board software. Maybe it can be configured differently? The way it is now, with being able to see who is ignoring you, is very interesting. The only other forum I use that has ignore is the Seymour Duncan forum - but on that one you can't tell if you're being ignored by anyone and you can't see who they are. That way might be a little better in practice, but it's not as fun. :laughing7:

Either way, I don't use the ignore feature. It doesn't make sense to me.
