Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between the new lumnilay and the old moonglow side dots?

Is it possible to get these on 24 fret necks and just have them up to the 21st fret? I’m assuming they’re not available on 24 fret necks standard because they’re too thick for the overhang.

You can get scalloped 24 fret necks that just don’t have the overhang frets scalloped, so I was wondering if they could do the same compromise with the side dots.
