Guitar legend Les Paul has died at 94

Sad news...I always thought it was cool as hell that he still got out and played regularly for the public at his age. Inventor, guitarist, entertainer...

I think he did.. Love life, and play a show every Monday.

*edit.. not tuesday.. monday*

Very Sad...He is a true legend. :( :(

I think WARMOTH needs to offer 50% off all LP bodies and necks to help us all grieve.

I'm actually really bummed.  I mean, we had to know it was coming since he was freaking 94, but still.  Les Paul was a real American and a real musician.  He makes me proud to be both.  I don't say American in some political slant; just that his whole spirit embodied the best parts of freedom and liberty.  He gave much more than anyone ever gave him, and did it with a smile.  His innovation and attitude, his marriage and partnership with Mary Ford, his unending dedication to music... The world needs more men of this fortitude.

I will absolute be plugging in my LP and playing Vaya Con Dios tonight with my wife.

How quick do y'all reckon Gibson will push out a commemorative  axe to exploit his demise?

Every Les Paul is a commemorative Les Paul now, imho

RIP

Don't know almost nothing of his songs, but only have design THAT guitar and invented the multi-tracker.... makes him a kick-ass of a guy!
