So, I was so impressed with my Inca Silver tele body from Warmoth that i decided to build my dream guitar.

I'm the new proud owner of this beautiful Black Korina body. I can't wait to see it in person. It's going to be a slow build, but i ordered my mastery bridge and vibrato today.

I'm thinking of the off white knobs and pick up covers to give it some vintage pop.

Glimmer, you have inspired me and I thank you for that. Saw this body and I couldn't pass it up. Now I hope nobody buys the black lacquered neck I want...

Haha! My first thought was, "Hey Glimmer, seen your Jazzmaster recently?" Beautiful! Another member of Black Korina Jazzmaster Club!
I must say, I find Tobacco Burst on Black Korina with a black pickguard and off-white knobs and pickup covers to be a pretty smashing aesthetic...  :occasion14:

Looking forward to seeing this one come together!

Yeah, that's a beautiful guitar. Well done.

Glimmer's Jazzmaster had a lot to do with my choices on that Strat as well, turns out he's been pretty influential of late!

A humbling legacy for someone who didn't know what the f!@#$ he was doing. :laughing7:

Well, what was going to be a slow build is picking up speed. Not shocking, really..don't tell my wife! haha.

I ordered a Warmoth neck, vintage satin nitro maple finish with dark rosewood fretboard. A pair of seymour duncan antiquities are on their way as well. If they are good enough for Nels Cline, they are good enough for me.

Looking forward to seeing this one come together!

Did you finish your Korina JM?

Nope, it's still looking at me with big puppy dog eyes, begging for attention. I figure I've got a couple good afternoons worth of work left on her, just got to find those afternoons. I'm heading out of town for a couple of weeks, then I'll re-double my efforts.

Happy for you that the neck is rolling! Sounds like a good fit. What kind of inlays did you go for?

I went with the cream face dots. I'm keeping it fairly simple.

That does sound nice.

Out of curiosity, does Warmoth offer different size dots? I'm kinda partial to smaller ones.

I didn't see the option if there was.

Very cool! Let's see some pics when it does, before you start putting everything together.

Verne, I'm crossing my fingers you'll get those JM afternoons soon!

Thanks Glimmer, your crossed fingers added to mine ought to make it a near guarantee! Still away for another week.

And yes, pictures of the new body, please!
