if the fretboard had the gibson radius (10" to 11" according to warmoth) will that work ok on a strat?

any issues with alignment of such a neck with the strat bridge etc?

appreciate any insight.

Any radius will work on any guitar as long as you adjust the bridge & nut to match the radius. I have everything from 12 to 14 to 16 to compound radius on my guitars & with the proper adjustments, they all play well.

Not only can you have the radius you want, you can get different scale lengths as well. So, if you like the short scale of a Gibson neck (24.75") versus the Fender scale (25.5") or a baritone scale (28.5/8"), you can get that with a radius that makes you happy and it'll bolt right on to many different styles of body without any modification.

Cagey is correct.

My next build is a standard strat body, gibson scale neck with a 14 radius fingerboard & it should work & fit perfectly.

I'm going to do that to one of my VIPs to see if it gets it closer to a Les Paul sound.
