Well, this was a really, really cool thing to watch. I planned on playing it in the background while I packed but I sat and watched the whole thing. Now I still have to pack.

Up on Gibson's You Tube Channel they've rebranded it as Gibson TV and they have a 3 part video series about their Nashville plant...Here's Part 1...

Parts 2 & 3 will probably be in the Playlist as you watch Part 1. Interesting to see how they make them, you can't help but notice a lot of labour involved. Not so much CNC for everything and hard defined tooling machines....

Well, that Hofner video was certainly educational. Lots of hand work I would have assumed was machine cut, like the fret slots. And who'd of thunk you could drill for and mount the pups after it was strung up!  :icon_scratch:
 
Yo that gibby video is cool. Binding a body looks more like straight up bondage lol :evil4:
