Too bad the front doesn't have awesome orange figuring too.
WOW, who ever threw that into the CNC should have flipped it over so those racing stripes would have been on top.
+1.... :headbang: Sometimes I wonder who's the one picking which side to make top or bottom. Cause whom ever it is, needs some lessons on what would make a better looking top.... :dontknow:
being in the middle, the bridge & pups would cover a considerable amount anyhow.  A good solid paint over it will fix everything.

you fools! is it only I who see the genius of this body? It is made for those immortal rock gods who play with their teeth!

I seem to have an urge to build a Tele lately, and for some reason, this "caution yellow" (Warmoth calls it "graffiti yellow") carved top appeals to me...

That, with black hardware. So... my question is: am I losing what little is left of my mind?

No, you are not. And you are right, with black hardware this will kick a . .

Aha -4702 is chambered. If you look at the trem cavity the stripe pretty deep. It's just got a different cap on it.

But check out

:icon_scratch: I see two stripes that go the full length of the body, true they don't stay completely separated all the way, but it still would have made an awesome top.

Sometimes wood grain can catch you off guard while cutting and sanding. Grain patterns appear and disappear as they see fit.  :glasses10:

Translation: Gregg was drunk.

I would jump on that right this second if it wasn't routed for a trem. Really wish Warmoth wouldn't put a trem rout on every pretty piece of wood.

Why do they do that? I see heaps of things that get my fancy, and then I go...nope- trem. Every time. Why not allow people options if they have to then take the showcase body and route a chosen trem anyway?
