She'll beat you to death with your own arm for that Agwan

She'd have to find me first!

Aha, but see, the joke's on you... I shaved my beard off ;).  Also, I can't imagine my husband wearing leather.

In all seriousness though, I do like plaid.  I don't wear it that often, but I have a very cute plaid dress that makes me look like a Scotch/Irish immigrant from the 1930s.  It makes me want to bust out the tenor banjo.

Black korina racing stripes!

Too bad the front doesn't have awesome orange figuring too.

I seem to have an urge to build a Tele lately, and for some reason, this "caution yellow" (Warmoth calls it "graffiti yellow") carved top appeals to me...

That, with black hardware. So... my question is: am I losing what little is left of my mind?

instead of carved tele, how 'bout a carved les paul?
instead of yellow, how 'bout black brown yellow burst?
that'd look nice.

Yeah ... you're loosing it. What you're looking for is a Candy Yellow telecaster with black bindings ...

... no ... wait ...

sorry ...

that's me looking for that  :icon_jokercolor:

But I like your scheme too  :icon_thumright:

And a canary CBS head would compliment that. Thank you very much.

Someone struck out when they put that Korina body upside down in the machine.  It's not a lam is it?

They've been on a BK tear this week. There's at least four bodies I'm keeping myself from buying.

I forgot about canary. I don't have one of those yet, either. That's a good idea. Canary with an ebony 'board and gold frets on a yellow/black body... what could possibly be wrong with that?

That Tele needs Curious George on it.  A decal of him rolling the knobs or something.

Hehe! Yeah. A new book to accompany it, too. "Curious George Wanks and Cranks" <grin>

WOW, who ever threw that into the CNC should have flipped it over so those racing stripes would have been on top.

+1.... :headbang: Sometimes I wonder who's the one picking which side to make top or bottom. Cause whom ever it is, needs some lessons on what would make a better looking top.... :dontknow:

being in the middle, the bridge & pups would cover a considerable amount anyhow.  A good solid paint over it will fix everything.

That's what I'm thinking, too.  A good mauve or fuchsia latex semi-gloss will cover up all that unsightly grain discoloration. It'll also wash up nicely with mild soap and water.
