It's not just you. Those CBS headstocks make you wanna get out some tools and do a little reshaping.

Well - you can't have too much wood. At least that's what she told me.  :icon_jokercolor:

I for one thinks the CBS headstock looks killer.  :icon_thumright:

The gas mask makes me think of Ratt's Loving You's a Dirty Job.  Not growing up with cable, I've had plenty of good songs ruined when I saw the video.

Does this qualify as GAS?
Or is it just gaseous?

Either way, I think I'm glad it's Christmas & I don't have any $.

As art the D'Celli guitars look pretty damn nifty. As usable instruments, the jury's still out.  Here's his site:  http://www.dcelliguitarco.com/sitepage.html

And  photo or two:

I can appreciate guitars, and I can appreciate Art, but as a guitarist, I do not appreciate guitars so artistic they can not be played without decay.
they look nice, but if I cannot play it what is the use?
But then things are only collectible to collectors, and I am not a guitar collector.

I'm glad those are still being made by someone.

Yeah. Gibson has issued some new ones ... far from the originals. Funny that the cheaper Epiphones will be so much closer to original specs. I will never understand how and why Gibson chooses like they do?

But a reasonable cheap Nighthawk will find it's way to my guitar family ... maybe two  :toothy11:

This just screams for a vintage V recreation. Only downside if the rear control cavity.
