I strongly recommend not looking for faces in that piece of wood. You may never come out. Not the same anyway.
 
You guitar guys get all the best drool items.  I've yet to see burl on a Warmoth bass.

This isn't warmoth, but speaking of fancy burls. I'm looking in the next couple of years to get into luthiery. So there is this website in Australia that sells really nice woods. I found a top wood that I want to build a guitar around.

Ha.  I'm having it shipped to my office, not home.  Can't let my wife know just yet.  I have no idea how I'm going to do this.  I feel like I've been in a casino and lost, you know that creepy crawly feeling on the back of your neck?  :confused4:

This one says chrome to me.  It's going to be a long, long time in the makings.
