Good, just don't touch that carribean burst above.  I may give into that one, seeing that it's one of the last.

I'm thinking I like it.

(I'm not in the market for a 11/16 neck, so if you like it, don't let me stop you from buying it.).

Getting tired of seeing nothing but 33rpm records in the GAS thread. Here's a brave/proud - I'm poplar, and I don't give a rip what you think about the beauty of poplar - I'm gonna finish it clear and say forget you fancy exotics - We Are Poplar, and We Are Proud!

I definitely like the "poplar and proud" vibe there.  I wish I liked the Soloist body style better.

Yeah its a shame it isn't more poplar.
:icon_jokercolor:  i do like the soloist, i just wish there was the occasional hardtail in the showcase.

I do love the soloist too..I have several Dinky's(same thing)and one of my best sounding one's is actually basswood. And it RAWKS on the most epic scale. It has a look and feel all it's own(literally)and ballz...

I know, not poplar, but similar situation... :icon_biggrin:

:laughing11:, no not a Liberace fan. And yes it's called the stone finish from way back in the 90's. I think Jackson only made them for 1 or 2 yrs. Nope, not heavy at all. It's actually the lightest one I own. :headbang1:

Another purty

And after seeing that last poplar finished clear, I'm thinking this might be cool to do some kind of grain accentuating fill and finish likewise. (But that may just be the oxycodone thinking.)
