Interesting query.  Surely if configured with other options, ordered with additional items, it would've been caught.  Maybe not as easily if one just bought it though.

The only real option was for a middle pickup route. 

Somebody bought it, I just wonder if they managed to get it for $305.  It had to have been somebody who watches the RSS feed because it wasn't there long.  That would almost lead me to believe that it is somebody who is on UW.

The feed isn't just limited to UW people.  On the home page, most of the time there's as many guests as actual members.  I would guess the lurkers aren't here for the non-build conversations.
 
OOOoooh if I could go back in time, I would've learned to play righty. You don't know how spoiled you are in the showcase unless you do a search for left in the orientation. Of course, if I ever want to build a black-red-yellow-burst or black strat, I'm set, because that's what's always there!  :tard: OK, I'm done venting... :icon_smile:
 
I saw it through the RSS feed that comes into my Outlook at work.  When I saw it, I immediately asked my wife if I could get it.  I knew it was about $500 below what it should be going for, but with her sick and not working, money is tight.  I told her I could probably turn it back over for $600, but I think she saw right through that and figured I'd ask for another $1000 for a neck and parts  :laughing7:
 
I wonder if there's a way to calculate the overall effect on sales of now having a couple dozen hardcore forum monkeys checking the RSS feed every ten minutes waiting for them to do it again.... :evil4:

Took your baby over to Point Lobos for the photo shoot?  Nice.  Where in the Bay Area are you?  I saw your axe on the SF Guitar Works blog a while back, and didn't connect the dots that you were local.  I'm in Santa Clara, if you want to get together sometime and make noise/compare notes.

I'm way down here in Monterey.  I used to date someone up in SF, so I used to get up there, but now, not so much. 

Looove Point Lobos.  I walk the trails there a lot and sometimes scuba dive off whaler's cove.
