Nice one!

Editorializing:
If that's not your natural inclination, it seems like cutting off your nose to spite your face.  I've heard of many cases of women spurning the company of men in favor of women after bad heterosexual relationship experiences -- but I've never heard of men turning away from women (except to embrace celibacy) under like circumstances.

Anyway, ON TOPIC, I'm GASsing hard for a telecaster body now that I've officially thrown in the towel on that ash body I've been working on and learning on for the last year or so.  But these Jazzcaster bodies are also seriously turning my head.  Hmmmm....

Hehe! Yeah, I don't know if that's a "solution". Most of the couples of that sort I've known have exactly the same problems everybody else has. I've come to understand that it's the intimacy that wrecks things. It seems to give free license to bitch and control above and beyond the call of civility, which leads to deep-rooted and unexpressed anxiety/resentment out of fear of rejection. That festers until it turns to anger and aggression, and you have The Lockhorns.

I think some of you guys like that pic to much, I would never look at it long enough to see if that was a R6

Yeah, honestly in reality I think it's incredibly stupid when women do that.  Just date better guys!  Being celebate isn't a bad idea if you've had a zillion terrible relationships though, since it is probably just as big of a problem with you than with your partners.

I don't think anyone's talking about being celibate <grin>

why Cagey, I have been Celibate for about 3 hours now and will continue to be so until the wife gets home and I get her, well it is a family forum. But yes sometimes I am Celibate for over 12 hours.

Celibacy is nothing. I went for almost 3 hours last night without a cigarette. You wanna talk about hell? Good thing I woke up.

^ I love that tele body! Was trying to convince myself I needed another one, but really I don't. I'm already trying to finish one build right now...

Speaking of which, I have a LP style neck and no body. I love the Gibson Eye guitar look (but definitely NOT the pickguard). Somebody tell me I don't need a carved top Soloist body :help:

Don't be silly. Everybody needs a carved-top Soloist body. But, I don't think a Les Paul neck would look good on it. It needs a Warhead.

What you need is a carved-top LPS (Les Paul Special) double cutaway body. Mmmm.... what would be wrong with that? Too bad they only have two in the Showcase, and they're both white and drilled for the dreaded TOM+STP bridge, so you'd have to custom order something to do it right. Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing and have time. I'd expect those two units to end up as "Screamin' Deals" before long. Seems like they've been in there forever.

I still say that thing looks like something that a villain on the old Batman show would own with that crazy pickguard.  Especially if the guitar was green and purple.

A Jackson headstock?!?! Are you kidding me? A Soloist is not a teeny-bopper blister-pak guitar!

Ahem... Ok. I was gone for a while, but now I'm back.

I mean, I'm sure that would be just fine.

(Arrrgghhh!)

It's alright. I had to debate on whether to order a Kenneth Lawrence headstock vs Warmoth headstock.  Non-pointy won... this time.
