As a tribute to the late Gary Moore, I decided to build a strat based on the strat he plays in his cover Hendrix's "Red House". The link to the video is after the pictures. It might take 50 years for it to look as aged and worn as Gary's, but ya gotta start somewhere, right? And the guitar isn't completely identical as far as the specs go. It has the 2-point trem, 12" radius neck, and XJ frets. I also ran out of string trees so that'll go on later. One thing is for sure. It's the deepest, nastiest, most mean-sounding strat I've ever heard, yet it cleans up beatifully. Anyway, specs and pics...

Body: Solid swamp ash, Am. Std. 2-point trem w/ Callaham enhanced block, Fiesta Red finish.

Neck: Maple/Rosewood, 21 frets, 12" straight radius, 6100 frets, standard thin contour, vintage split-post tuners.

Pickups: Callaham H/SRV custom-wound pickups. I can't say enough good things about these pickups. IMO they are the best single-coils available. They respond very well to how you attack the strings. Incredibly dynamic.
