FOR SALE: Seymour Duncan SSL5 "Custom Staggered Strat" Pickup
***SHOP FLOOR CUSTOM MODEL*** with vintage-style cloth push back wire, and vintage shaped bobbin.
Hey guys. Up for sale is my Duncan SSL5. I ordered it as a Shop Floor Custom, with all the vintage cosmetic/construction appointments (instead of the standard thinner bobbin, with wire coming out of each side).
The SSL5 is perfect for anyone who wants a slightly hotter, fatter tone from their Strat's bridge position, without going into humbucker territory - just ask David Gilmour. This one is every bit as great as the standard SSL5, but now you can rest easy at night knowing that the inside of your beloved Strat looks 100% vintage correct. Very little playing time - just decided to go with something with more vintage output. Excellent condition.
• This is a special request item, and the only way to get one like this is to custom order it.
• Leads have been neatly trimmed to precisely fit a Strat bridge position. I will extend the leads with vintage cloth wire upon request.
