First Warmoth build! I wanted to make this guitar something unique to any Fender you could buy, but still simple and classy. I've always loved the shape of a Tele but I enjoyed how my Strat feels in my hands and body, plus I love the P-90 sound. I am absolutely in love with how this sounds and feels, my experience building it was great and this will probably be my Number One for a long time. Thank you to everyone here for their support on my build, and especially to @TonyFlyingSquirrel for wiring it all together.

As they say ... nothing says warmoth like a clean headstock. Paint job looks great!

Very nice!

Looks great!

Just curious as I’m new to all this. Is there a reason you used the Neck Pocket Shape: Strat® on the tele body instead of the tele neck pocket shape and the tele neck heel shape?

Thank you!
My Willow gives it "one tail up"!
I’m glad she likes it!

Not really, it shouldn’t matter to the feel of the guitar at all. Just make sure they match or else it won’t fit right.

I just listened to ”Bad Little Doggie” by Govt Mule, but there is definitely nothing bad about this guitar (or your dog)! Great work!

Thank you! Side note, what would be some good songs to get into that band? I’ve heard a lot about them and have been wanting to listen at some point.
They are great live, so it’s worth going for some of their live albums. The problem is that there’s a lot of them…. The Deepest End (Live) would be a good start.

There's also hordes of video on YouTube, and Warren will play with practically ANYONE who wants to sit in. All kinds of neat cameos at Gov't Mule shows.

One of my favorite tunes from Gov't Mule is "Thorazine Shuffle."

Feel the herky-jerky goodness of that bass line.
