Lower or shorter frets don't give a lower action compared to higher frets.

The action is measured from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string, not the bottom of the string to the fretboard itself.

True, but you try telling my brain that.

I think someone already said it, but stainless and EVO fret material have made the extra logevity of chunky fret a moot point.

Are those strings the other side of those frets?
