I have had a few set-backs, but things are about to come to a close.
It ends up that this particular model of Bigsby would not fit on the V body very well.  After measuring for correct placement of the roller bridge, there was only about 1/4 inch of meat left to screw into for the Bigsby.
My other option was the Vibramate mount; however, it only works on the Bigsby B-5 and I had to have the B-500 because it is the only Black model.
I found a machinist to make a custom Vibramate to fit the B-500 and the new bracket is at the shop getting a powedercoat as we speak.
The neck goes to the inlay god next week and should be back in a couple.
Then I will slap her together and post pics.
