Super impressed by the skills and the creation.. I'm really hoping that one day, I'll have the tools and the cajones to actually try building a guitar body from scratch.

Thank you. A saw and a router are the starting point. Then just get some cheap wood and go for it. It's like anything else, nobody starts out great but the more you do it the better you get....Well, except for my ex-brother-in-law who couldn't figure out how to use a basic handsaw.................. :sad1:

Well, we seem to be near an acceptable result. Still have to finalize the finish but, it's....guess you could say it's green....Yep, it's green is what it is.......

. Dawn in the jungle comes to mind............... :cool01:

Thank you. Don't really know why I did green, other than it's been a long time since I did green.... :dontknow:

Looks great! Reminds me of a motorcycle I had repainted candy lime green. Looks good with that back, too. :icon_thumright:

How are the controls going to be? In a plate or drilled through?

Thanks for the comments. My plan so far is to put the controls in the same way Gibson does the 335's, through the sound hole. I still have to decide layout and exact location for them. And drill them, I know I should have done that already but it should be doable still. Then we shall see if my plan is feasible or failure............. :turtle:

That'll look good. A plate might be easier but that would detract from the nice top.
