Scored a maple P-bass neck with a macassar ebony board on Friday. I now have an equal number of corresponding bodies and necks and no damned excuse to not build them (except for the ghastly weather - 110F out there as I write this). Great news: Tru-oil can be applied indoors without especially intensive ventilation, so there's the problem of neck finishing sorted.

The aforementioned P-Bass neck shipped yesterday. I should have it by Wednesday, 6/25. Will start a Work In Progress thread. Yee and/or haw, boys and girls.
