It´s ebony on ebony! Very smooth. I got my headstock decal today, so soon I´m done building.

I have always been curious about all (macasar) ebony necks.. the weight issue stopped me from ordering one though.

I've got one on my tele, and it isnt much heavier than a rosewood or maple neck. it feels extremely slick and smooth, and plays very fast.
