1. we keep everything the same with all money less $50 going to the winner
2. we have 3 levels of winners 1st is $1725 second being $200 and 3rd being the remainder of whats left after fees $50 - $60

I don't care for the odds changing mid stream. The raffle doesn't have to be once a year. We can do more, bi-monthly, quarterly, etc. But this one should finish as it started. Having said that, I don't see where $200 will build a guitar (maybe buy a plain showcase neck or body) so what's the point other than just distributing funds among more people?

I agree. Personally, I can't really afford a whole new project, except on the slim chance that I win this thing. So $200 wouldn't really be that helpful. I'm sure there are lots of people in the same boat. Let it all go to the lucky winner!

I agree but the sales got out of control durring the night. That said as it sits the odd's for you since you bought five are better then 1 and 30 and the worst you can do is 1 in 40. Next year a little more planning. It will go perfectly right sooner or later.

The $50 is for the second chance drawing....all money gets paid out no one is making anything off of this.

alright so everything stays the same tickets limited to 200 Final answer. If any tickets are bought after hours and exceed 200 they will be refunded.

The last time it was 50 on the first speak and we decide to go to 100 on the middle IIRC and had no problem or people thinking it was a bad idea, that's why I said nothing about...

Think that this change to 200 is alright and, as some people prefer to not change more, I'm think it's a good idea to limit on this...

It's really simple. If the sales go over the limit, refund based on order of last paypals received.

that is exactly how it is going to go. No tickets past 200 will be accepted no exceptions.

Out of curiosity instead of refunding the money - why not return the drawing to 125 picks and anything over that roll into a second drawing of 125? I am interested in participating also - but care less about the amount then I do the better odds. My two cents.

So, for my 2 cents...

I agree all the money should go to the winner minus the $50 or what ever.
I don't like changin' horses in the middle of the stream.
We gotta go with what was promoted when we bought the tickets.

However, I also STRONGLY agree that this does not have to be a yearly event.
I would certainly be willing to participate in this more than once a year...
Hell, I spend almost this much on football pots during the season.
