DIY FINISHING TIPS AND TRICKS

Tonar, I am interested is doing a light tobacco burst on the edges and sides of a build.  This will be the first time I am mixing my own.  I am using behlens nitro and thinner.  Currently mixing 3:1.  I want to use stewmac color tone dyes.  I do have a smaller sprayer for smaller quantities.  How much should I mix up and how much of the dye should I use??
