I have been wanted a 12 string for a while and they look so cool.  I have played the 6 strings and the play and sound really nice for the $$.  I will post some pics ASAP.

I've got a Dean 12 string as well, but it doesn't look like that. That looks really good. Mine looks good, but yours is gooder

Cool! Was wondering what the flamed top was , being an acoustic guitar.

very brigh sounding with all maple.  but not too over bearing.

here are some photos of the guitar that arrived.  I am very pleased with the guitar playing and sound.  Very nice and stays in tune well.  Thank god for that becuase the Dean tuning system is a little cumbersome to operate.

The Flame on the back, sides and headstock are great.  The Flame on the top is less pronounced that the stock photos  and very dependant on the angle.

I cannot complain...I used award points from work to purchase so the guitar cost me nothing...

Dig that 12-string. A good many of the Dean acoustics I've seen are quite garish (loud colours, excessive inlay, etc.), but this one is nice and classy-looking.  :icon_thumright:

yeah...i know what you are saying.  If you look, the binding is a tortise shell but blends well.  I did some recording with it today with my new multi-track.  I hope to post some clips soon.

I don't think I've ever seen tortoise shell binding before, but as a fan of all things tort, I like it. And as you said, it's subtle.
