Your winning number should be on the Wafflecaster neckplate.

This. Perfection.

It shall be done. Now I just need to figure out what else goes on it (suggestions welcome).

Dangerous - I'm going to use a nickel-finish neckplate. Do you have any of those or should I get one and send it when I decide on a design?

It should be a waffle with crossed forks under it or something.

Maybe:

On vacation, I'm very happy when the hotel has one of those diy wafle makers in the breakfast area.

A waffle in perspective would be good. Not sure where to get a good line drawing.

Maybe a Warmoth "W" with a waffle pattern in it?

>> Pancakes with syrup traps

Isn't that just the best? I've always thought waffles were an excuse to eat syrup, just like cake is an excuse to eat frosting. But, I'm an empty carbo addict from way back. Never got over the childhood fascination with Halloween or Easter, I guess.

There's a lot to be said for Mrs. Butterworth, but there's nothing like real maple syrup. It's kinda like solid state vs. tubes. Ain't nothin' like the real thing.

I went out and bought some freaking Eggos last night because of this thread.  Must have waffles!!!

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. We have a waffle maker here, and it makes the best waffles you could ask for, but it's such a pain in the ass to clean that it never gets used.

I make belgian waffles almost every weekend that I have my kids - which means once or twice a month, we're in Wafflesburg USA out here in Santa Clara.

You may worship me in 3...2...1... GO!

I have a Belgian waffle maker, but it's at my mom's house because our kitchen is so small, we have no place to store it.  I would have to get rid of the bread machine, and that just cannot happen.  And yeah, the damn thing is very hard to clean.

Doug you should find one of those free hosting sites and post all the neck plates you have done or at least those who their owners don't mind to be online. It would be good for future customers to get ideas for their orders and to show your work. I know I'm gonna order from you again when I'll make another guitar.
