Custom neckplate

Well, for what it's worth, Danger, I thought that first plate you showed, the flames with the cut ridges around it, ws bad ass. I totally agreed with you that you didn't sand blast it.

Yeah, that's the same tour, man. They were here in Japan in October of 98. I had the whole "All Access" thing set up for the entire week they were here. I met Ed's ex, Valerie, many years ago and she introduced me to their tour manager, Scotty Ross. When they came to Japan they hooked me right up.

that's on stage at the Budokan!! Woohooo!!

Disregard the retard face I have here, but in my defense, when you're on stage at the Budokan and you're handed Eddie Van Halen's guitar.....that's about the only face you can put on.

Interesting note: Before this photo was taken I was told that I wasn't allowed to stand up while holding it.

Yip, we went to the premier in LA. Before the tour even started, got to hang out with Ed and the gang all night. It was pretty cool, I have some pics of Gary and Alex goofing around with my sunglasses. However not as cool as getting to actually play Eddie's guitar, especially a stripped one.  :icon_thumright: Also got to meet Satch that night and see him perform at the H.O.B. in LA. There's also another member here, or was not sure if he's still around or not, that was at the premier that night.

And in your defense, the goofy face is acceptable. And why you in Japan, you don't look Japanese?

That's kind of cool that you were there before the tour started and I was there when it ended. The shows here were the last ones on that tour. We were with them for about a week. I saw 3 shows at he Budokan and the final night at Yokohama Arena. I even got Gary to change the lyrics to Jamie's Cryin' to MULLY's Cryin". A few months after the tour was over I was able to pick up a bootleg CD and VHS of the Yokohama show with Gary singing my name from the stage. Pretty cool!! When they started the intro for Jamie's Cryin Gary yells "I didn't forget abouy you MULLY" and then on the last verse ha sang "Whoa o o MULLY'S Cryin!" Very nice. hehe!!

As for me being in Japan, I met a Japanese girl back in the late 80's while I was living back in Cincinnati...GO BENGALS!!....sorry, anyway, we got hitched and moved over here. My original plan was just a year to make some cash and then go back to America but the next thing you know 18 years had passed. I doubt I'll ever move back home now.

Wow, that is pretty cool. Ya I thought Gary was pretty alright guy. Didn't know it until I had a conversation with him that he has a twin brother..Alex an Mike were staight up cool to, Eddie was kind of an ass, and he accidently burned my wife with his cigarette, he was freaking out...

Damn, you just dropped us like a hot lava rock huh...Don't know I'd want to live outside the US, cept maybe in the UK somewhere...

Yeah, Gary was as cool as a fan. I really liked talking with him. Mike was really down to earth. Eddie was cool but sort of weird in his own way. Like he wasn't comfortable without that guitar in his hands. That said, we were watching the sound check and during a break Ed came over to the front of the stage and talked to me a bit then he ran back to his case and grabbed a guitar pick for me, I didn't request it. He said it was the last one he had but you know how that goes. Still cool though.

Yep, dropped like a bad habit, man. I find every time I make it back to the US I can stand it for about 3 weeks and then I'm ready to get back here. Too many things have changed since I left and I really can't tolerate the attitudes of people in department stores etc.... They act like they're doing you a favor by working there. This lady at the car rental place was about 2 inches from getting a size 12 shoved into her colon if she hadn't gotten off her cell phone.......and it was a personal call. Had it been something work related it wouldn't have bothered me one bit to stand there waiting but she was obviously gabbing with a friend and I waited a few minutes, right in front of her, and when she got off the phone she looked at me like I was bothering her. It just ain't right.

I'll keep searching then.
Dude where you keep coming up with all these weird file extensions? :icon_scratch:

If you find a pic of something you don't have to try and convert it to anything. Just look for what you want as a jpg or bmp. Those are the most common picture files...

That's pretty cool.

I'd like to see one with a dancing bear holding an uzi, with the caption "the right to arm bears"  :icon_biggrin:
