Custom neckplate

I'm guessing/hoping there's just not been many done lately or posted in this thread.

But as a Question to R6, as I'm guessing you've done some international shipping on these things, How much roughly would I be looking at for two Black engraved neck plates To the UK including shipping roughly? (I know customs if there were any you can't exactly predict so i'll set aside some for them incase  :) )
Feel like getting one for my jazz bass which will be a half moth once funds allow. and at same time I feel my first warmoth deserves a special plate on it finally.

Also what are the dimensions for the neckplates you use? Guessing they'd be the same as the one on my bass currently but just want to check.
Writing up and budgeting everything for this build so figured i'd ask for a approximation. Unless it wasn't a flat fee and depends on the design.
But thanks :)

I think a LP Toggle Switch plate would be really cool as follows:

Following the inspiration from Orange Amplifiers,

UP = Neck pickup, Gibson references it as "Rythym".
Down= Bridge pickup, Gibson references it as "Treble".

I say, make the top a bass clef and the bottom a treble clef in chrome with the routed section in black.

I've been trying to come up with a Les Paul-style switch plate/surround for years that would make me happy, but haven't been able to. What I'd really like is a play on that old SNL skit where Michael Meyers played the Scotsman who ran a little retail shop called "All Things Scottish". His motto was: "IF IT'S NOT SCOTTISH, IT'S CRAP!"

Somewhere in there, he talks about something that comes in sizes - may have been kilts - that were labelled "Wee", "Not So Wee" and "Friggin' Huge!" I think that would be great for a 3 way toggle, but there's just not room for it.

Plus, it was a long time ago. I suspect the joke would lost on most people these days. Then again, most of the people I hang around with are my age, so...

"Well, yeah, look, it's a shot in the dark, but I was wondering, do you have these coasters? They're plaid, and they have Jackie Stewart's head on them.

Box of six or twelve?"

I loved the Bagpipe door chime that faded away like a dying goose...

I was planning to have one that just read LEAD and... LEAD.

Hehe! I like that. As long as we're talking sassy, I also thought "up" and "down" might work, too.

Oh, look! A peer! <grin>

Sturm/Drang
Search/Destroy
Spindle/Mutilate
Jump/Jive
Roar/Scream
Meat/Potatoes

I could do this all day...

Oh! I like Sturm/Drang! Nobody knows what it means except in context, and it sounds metal. Plus, it fits perfectly in the available space.

Surely "SCOTTISH/CRAP" then?

Cagey, I remember that skit well.  My favorite was the lady looking for the family crest, last name Kowalski.

"Get out!"
"I'd like to get something Scottish for my dad, like a little leprechaun.

A leprechaun? Well ... leprechauns are, in fact, Irish.

Oh ... Irish, Scottish, it's the same thing.

Oh, it's the same thing, is it?!? [ whips out a map of Europe and points to it ] HAVE A LOOK AT THE MAP!! THERE'S SCOTLAND! THERE'S IRELAND! THERE'S THE BLOODY SEA!! THEY'RE DIFFERENT, NOW GET OUT!! GET OUT! GET OUT, MRS. NO-CAN-READ-A-MAP! GET OUUUUUT!!"

Good times...

Hey doug, can you do a brushed nickel or stainless? Something dull with a grainy texture. Also, custom plates?
Sure..
