Curry Thinline (PICTURES ADDED)

Having polished the guitar to a mirror glaze and bolted on the neck, I feel the Thinline deserves to be have more frontal exposure of the Quilt Maple face.  The Thinline pickguard just covers too much to do the guitar justice.  Hence, I need your input to "dress" this guitar.

I am thinking perhaps a Jazz bass control plate or a cut-off Thinline pickguard as so :-

Any of you have other ideas ?

I think a cut-off Thinline pg, but made of metal would be awesome.

You should join us for lunch sometimes! Luke and I have curry for lunch at least once a week! sometimes indian, but the best one is at a small carribean restaurant in plano. they have a buffet with several curries, but the best one is the goat curry! one of the best things I ever tasted!

I'm gonna stalk you TX guys for the curry!

On the other hand, I don't like tortoise pickguards. Great finishing job on that guitar, I have no idea how I missed it the first time!
