Cover time: Rainbow in the dark (DIO)

Well, not much to say. Classic metal hit, so why not cover it. I guess it's one of the most covered songs ever but who cares!

Playing my favorite Warmoth of course. The solo is improvised and could have been better but eh, I just wanted to have this over and done with so I can start cleaning my apartment.  :toothy12:

Also I did it to really try my Superior Drummer 3 software with my e-drums. Works good and this sound fits the song well too, kind of "organic sounding" or something. Of course being me, I hit the "Q" button after recording.  :toothy12:

Used to cover this song back in the eighties. Also saw Dio in 85 in Hammersmith, with Vivien Campbell and a dragon on stage. Good times.

Great work!  Your recording skills are improving - the overall mix and eq are superior to what you achieved on your "Walking on Sunshine" cover.  And your playing and singing are spot on for the genre.

Thanks everybody! I got another couple of covers in the making... Iron Maiden and U.D.O!

Regarding mix = well... the drums are pretty much based on a Superior Drummer 3 preset I've then tweaked a bit to my liking so it's not entirely mix by me  :toothy12:
