Bubinga vs Wenge bass neck

yeah i have that problem too, i work night shift so it works out ok. i normally cant wake up, i sleep a lot! i could never sleep right since i was a kid, i have even slept entire days away. but every once in a while i get restless and cant sleep at all.

Any suggestions for fingerboard wood, inlays and frets?
Tuners will be chrome by the way.

Or do you have to sleep over it first?  :laughing7:

frets; standard answer is stainless. as far as size, how should i know. i dont know what you like, or even play bass for that matter.

fretboard, you cant go wrong with ebony. for bubinga i'd go bubinga board because it looks cool. i also love the look of bloodwood.

with wenge i'd go with kingwood or ziricote or pau ferro or macassar ebony. probably the ebony to keep it bright and snappy.

i may just stay up today and get back on schedule tonight. if i go to sleep now i'll sleep till it's dark again and that's not fun.

All Bubinga = Ebony or Dark Rosewood fingerboard...

Wenge = anything, but I'd like the matching headstock veneer...
