So I have a body with the string through holes and drilled for a standard strat hardtail bridge... Just wondering if there are any choices other than the standard gotoh type ?

I got the standard Fender bridge from Warmoth for my build.

I've always liked Hipshot's offerings...

The baseplate is milled brass, while everything else (including springs and screws) is stainless steel. Mounts tight to the body. Feels good under the palm.

So this bridge is compatible with the Warmoth drilled Standard Strat Flat mount bridge set-up?  Looks pretty sharp. If it lines up I'm in..

Hipshot provides detailed drawings...

Fender? Not so much. Could be why their guitars are so inconsistent. After 60 years or so, they're still wingin' it  :laughing7:

Chances are pretty good it'll drop right in. I used one a few years ago and I don't remember having to mess with the bridge so much as the neck pocket. In any event, I know I'd remember if the string holes hadn't lined up. That's a pain in the shorts to compensate for.

Thanks for the information man... I ordered one for the build.
