Easy, Cagey - how did those first coupla marriages work out?

Umm... good point. Maybe I could just have one for a while as an indentured servant?

That body is really, really awesome.  The trans colors (at least red) seem to work really well on the Korina.  Got me rethinking things...again, haha.

Excellent choice!!

It kinda reminds me of a tortise shell cat - the black/brown spotted ones where the colors all sort of run together and they kinda shimmer as they move because the brown is so dark and your eye is never quite sure whats black and whats brown and whats just lighting. Very cool 3D effect. Speaking of which - a dark transparent brown/red would totally rock - BK tortie! Funny because natural BK reminds me of calico anyway.

Trans Red is now the definitive color for Black Korina, trumping the Trans Yellow as seen on early Explorers.

So now im thinking, instead of the the white pickguard, maybe a white pearl? What do you guys think?

Definately going to get the SD Little '59 for the neck position (in white), and possibly either the classic stack or custom stack for the middle.

Not sure about that...I have always thought something like this (maybe in an LP) looks pretty sexy. BK with black yellow burst

I love the look of Blk Korina, and it looks awesome under the red, the whole thing looks great, but part of me wonders what that would look like with the typical oil or clear finnish that usually works so well with BK Korina

Everybody and their brother does oil or clear on BK, and rightly so - it's a gorgeous wood that responds very well to that finishing scheme. But, that red is money, G! I've got a BK VIP body here that I think I'm going to do that way. It's just way too pretty. Mine even has a moderately curly (flame) BK top and a one-piece BK back, which ought to make it even more interesting.
