Man, I don't post here as often as I used to, so I have not commented on this yet, but, The Reverend Billy F Gibbons can do no wrong in my book, and a tribute to a guitar that he had as a tribute to one of the originators of rock and roll is just a stellar plan as far as I'm concerned.  Everything here seems to be in order.....proceede as you see fit.

Thanks Bart, the body was done by KNE guitars. The neck is coming from Warmoth, I love the purpleheart, I really liked Orpheo's LP with the Purpleheart top and the Danish oil. So I'm excited to see how it turns out with the Danish oil... :icon_biggrin:

Couple more pic, put some parts on to get a feel for it. Kinda pissed about the GFS pups, seems that where they soldered the top to the base is swelled out a bit and won't fit in the pockets. I'll have to unsolder them and clamp them up and resolder... :tard:
