Anyone have experience with Gotoh HAPM-style locking tuners?

They don't use the thumbwheel at the bottom like most locking tuners do. I've read some reviews that they're fiddly to set up, and you can jam them if not careful. But I do like the fact that they have a cleaner look, and I think I'm sufficiently mechanically inclined to use them without breaking them.

I like them but only in cases when I want to retail the vintage tuner look. in pretty much every other case, the thumbscrew on the back of the tuner is the way to go.

They are pretty easy to use. Sometimes I found they have to be unlocked with a pick or quarter for string changes.
