Is that "Goofus"? From Goofus and Gallant Fame?Anybody recognize this Warmoth-using guitar player? He has lots of tattoos, so he's obviously famous, but I'm not familiar with him. (Also, he's obviously smart, cuz look at that bridge pickup. Although....I must deduct intelligence points for those string ends.)
Anybody?

That's John Dwyer from Thee Oh Sees. Awesome band, even more awesome album covers.
I keep a folder of old Highlights magazines and I am pretty sure that is Goofus pounding on a guitar at guitar center right before getting kicked out.I think you nailed it!
I keep a folder full of pics of all the artists I see using Warmoth parts. Today John Dwyer gets added. Thanks!
Also, gonna listen to some Oh Sees today!
I mean, he wasn't even playing "Smoke On The Water" correctly. He had to go.I keep a folder of old Highlights magazines and I am pretty sure that is Goofus pounding on a guitar at guitar center right before getting kicked out.

I've never seen a video, but I've seen them live a few times. I should check out a video, because I'm sure they're interesting!I've been listening to Thee Oh Sees for years but have never seen video or pictures. How weird.
Well, it's just a performance video from KEXP (god bless that station), but here's a winner:I've never seen a video, but I've seen them live a few times. I should check out a video, because I'm sure they're interesting!
oh geez, I am unclear, did those folks willingly pay for that? It reminds me of Hagwood after 2 or 3 espressos.Well, it's just a performance video from KEXP (god bless that station), but here's a winner:
The opening number is quite bracing, but it gets a little more melodic and interesting as the show progresses. But even so - it ain't for everyone.oh geez, I am unclear, did those folks willingly pay for that? It reminds me of Hagwood after 2 or 3 espressos.
