Amber Dye finish with masked binding

I ordered a second amber dye body, which arrived last week. This is a Soloist in roasted alder w/ QMT top. The back finish is Transparent Amber with burst-over.
This body came out unusually lightweight at 3lb 9oz. It has a .680 mark in the neck pocket which was a custom request. It is routed for the Hipshot hardtail bridge which is an off-menu option in combination with the Telecaster bridge pickup route.

Beautiful ! I like the clean edges with no burst.

It has an edge-burst that is extremely subtle. It is probably done by someone with amazing spray skills. I think the amber back finish might be a light coating, since the roasted alder has a naturally smoky tone. I also like the egdes where the outline of the lam-top is visible.
