Thanks man! Some real good grain pops on the body. It'll look good with a touch of tint and clear, I'm thinking. Just waiting for the bridge so I can start figuring that out.Looks cool!
Ya I really wanted to try this Benedetto neck pickup. Only thing Benedetto I can affordWatching this one, should be very cool. Interesting pickup combination.
Ha, reading up on bridge and tailpiece placement and one of the first posts I found had an answer from Cagey himself! Love it.It doesn't matter. It will sound/feel/play the same even if you anchor the strings all the way down at the strap hanger. It's the bridge placement that's important. And keep in mind that once intonated the high E will be closest to the scale length of the neck. All the rest of the strings will end up somewhat longer. You don't have a lotta saddle adjustment range with a TOM, so careful placement is important.
Is that what’s left of your guitar there in your dog’s mouth?Been pretty slow going in CO with fam n pups. Had a nice day here so sprayed some. Just gonna do clear and let it be. Some real nice wood grain popping out. Got some sweet Mahogany pickup rings. I'm liking them. This is looking like a real fun one!
