A different kind of painting today…..

ooh geez, looks like you may have damaged the sensor Hagwood!

Dammit Spud, you jinxed me ! Actually did bend some connector pins on the main motor plug because the little guide pin broke off. Took me forever to get it back in with that damn tight waterproof boot ! It was like 16 of those little bastards.......

Someone didn't follow up and do their homework after watching "A Dark Song". Old Spud did, bwahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!

You're doing it right. The first time I stripped the paint off a bike and repainted it, it was in our little apartment in Brooklyn. When it was done I couldn't stop drooling. Drooling from all the fumes. Like a dog. Oddly, no head ache just totally spaced and cross-eyed. Lost 10 IQ points. I'll never do that again without proper ventilation. Oh yeah, 6 months later me and the bike were in car accident, some guy in a jag hit me near the brooklyn bridge. Fortunately I got flipped onto the windshield, smashed that with my back, dented the hood and knocked off the jag statue. His jag was my pillow, but boy I was lucky it wasn't something like an escalade. His Insurance gave me $300 toward a new bike.

Wow, perfect match ! Did you paint it or get it already finished ? And nice car !

It was professionally painted (I don't paint), both the guitar and the car. Same exact color.

Very nice !! Love how the logo at the top of the headstock is reminiscent of the Silver Falcon.

I guess I need to get a 57 chevy in Surf Green now to go with mine.....

I've always sad I was going to do a restoration build of another 68 Camaro with a 383 stroker for a retirement project, but not so sure now with our plans to buy a Hugh Jass motor home to travel the country......

The headstock crossed flags are the same as the C7’s hood emblem. The stingray cutout on the guitar body is the same as the emblem on the front fenders. The TRC has “2019-C7” engraved on it.

And yea, you need a 57 Chevy !

There's a nice orange C8 that's always at the local golf club, beautiful !





Nowadays, I'm into my bikes, but definitely would like to get back to a classic muscle car.
I guess I should build a blue guitar to match my bikes......

Well, pretty much done, other than getting the stupid derailleur adjusted and tidying up some wires/cables.. Turned out great I think.
He damn sure better appreciate it........ Pretty cool little bike, it will go 28mph on just motor.

Now it got me in the mood to paint an orange guitar, especially after seeing @Don O 's pics !!
Wonder how a star body or nomad would look with a crazy bright orange ?
