Im going to build a custom explorer guitar and i want to put a 16" radius neck on it. I see that i can get a nut for 16" radius but what about the bridge? I want a floyd type. The schaller i had on my strat i think was for 12" inch radius wich fit well with my 12"rad KWS neck i orderd. I had to replace the bridge so i bought a Floyd that was for a 10" radius. It seemed that i couldnt get the action as low as with my schaller. I know that a bridge has less influence on the string radius than the nut (at least it seems that way) but i want the action to be LOW LOW LOW! Where can  i buy a flyd type bridge with a  16" radius? Or can i replace the saddles on my floyd?

Get as close as you can with the correct Floyd, then shim the saddles the rest of the way. There are shims that are made for the Floyd saddles.

I've used Floyds on all of my builds with Warmoth necks and have had no issues with the action. Never had to shim the saddles or anything, the ONLY problem I've ever had was that a body I bought wasn't properly angled in the neck pocket for the use of a Floyd. But it wasn't a Warmoth body either. So if the neck pocket is properly angled there really should be no issues with the action...
