I have a GFS Vintage '63 in the neck and a 10k Lil Puncher w/coil cut in the bridge of my Standard Tele. Neck is very mellow. The bridge is very stock Tele coil cut and a bit more aggressive in full on bucker mode. Middle is very nice buth with coil cut and without. :rock-on:
They are GFS Dream (neck) and Mean (bridge) 90's. I wanted to be able to change pickups in the future if I wanted to. I just can't ever leave anything alone. :guitarplayer2:
Finally got a good couple of days in Sunny Central NY (Sarcasm) last week. Got it clearcoated and hand buffed. I am learning patience with this build. Just have to wire and string it. Need to go to bed , I'll have to finish it tomorrow.
Well, I sanded off the finish and removed the milky lacquer from the wood burning with lacquer thinner and Q-tips. It didn't take that long because there wasn't that much finish on it. I'ts ready for a new coat of sealer. Then I'll use the acrylic clearcoat on a warmer and less humid day. Thanks...
