1985 ProCo Rat.....bought it in 1985 and has been the only constant since. Great for blues break-up, for slightly thickened jazz lines and creamy solo's. Add a MXR Carbon copy and good guitar & tube amp.
After thinking about it and setting aside the meter readings. I think that the sound that I am not completely satisfied with may be the wiring. I used some silver wiring that I had laying around. I remember a few years back I rewired a guitar with the same silver wiring and ended up re-wiring...
I just put in a set of SD Antiq Texas Hot strat PU. The DC resistance readings on the SD website are as follows: neck & middle 6.3....bridge 9.7

I have a mesa lonestar and am looking to run it in stereo with another amp. Can someone please explain how the slave out function on the lonestar would come into play? From my understanding I could drive both amps from the LS slave out line into the effects return of second amp. This would...
The rat in front should fill out the bottom end. I bought a rat pedal around 84 or 85 and it has been a mainstay on my pedal board. Thickens up any amp by adjusting the filter.
After owning several guitars(les pauls, strats, hamers, ibanez, etc.) I completed my first build this summer. The 59 roundback to me is the perfect neck. I took a chance and ordered th 1 3/4 nut and to me this is the best neck i have ever played. From chords to playing solo's I feel like I have...
